Steven Webb spotted a gap in the marketing, supplying hardwearing entrance mats for the increasing number of Shopping Centres, Night-clubs, Bars and Hotels that were springing up all over the place.
Handmade in Halifax, mostly using Yorkshire Wool, our mats quickly got a reputation for being hard wearing and lasting a long time, even in high foot traffc areas.
Today, Master Matting is still a family owned business, we still hand-make our mats in Halifax and we still use Yorkshire Wool in many of our products.
